Naseem shah

In the grand tapestry of cricket, where legends are woven with threads of sweat and glory, emerges a young maestro named Naseem Shah. Born on the 15th of February, 2003, in the serene valleys of Lower Dir, Pakistan, this right-arm fast bowler has stormed the cricketing world with the vigor of a tempest.

At the tender age of 16, Naseem was summoned to don the prestigious green jersey for Pakistan’s Test series against Australia in November 2019.  His debut etched his name as the ninth-youngest player to step onto the Test cricket stage. But young Shah was not content with mere participation; he sought distinction. In December of the same year, facing Sri Lanka, he became the second-youngest bowler to claim a five-wicket haul in Test cricket, and notably, the youngest pace bowler to achieve this feat.  As if the fates themselves were scripting his journey, February 2020 witnessed him orchestrating a hat-trick against Bangladesh, crowning him the youngest ever to do so in Test history.

Beyond the international arena, Naseem’s prowess has been showcased in domestic and franchise cricket. He has wielded the ball for teams such as Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited and Central Punjab, and has been a formidable force for the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.

As of April 2025, this 22-year-old speedster continues to be a beacon of inspiration, reminding us all that age is but a number when talent and determination converge.
